State tax update: Arkansas tax rates reduce
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has signed legislation lowering the state’s top individual and corporate income tax rates. The top individual rate is now 3.7%, with a two‑tier structure applying for income above $94,700. Beginning with tax years starting on or after Jan. 1, 2027, the top corporate income tax rate drops to 4.1% (from 4.3%), with the same rate structure applied to both domestic and foreign corporations.
